WEB BARN CAMS
Below is a live video feed from the foaling stall at the barn. The mares have the option to go in or out of the barn during the day, but at night they are required to stay inside. This is for their safety and the safety of the unborn foal. Take a look at our mares!
The web cams are turned off or deactivated at certain times of the day so that staff can clean the stalls. Also, cams are deactivate when the horses are not in their stalls. We currently have no mares in foal at this time.

About Internet
Video
I belive streaming
video is the future of the internet. The streaming process has four basic
steps: content creation, digitizing, compressing, and serving. The first step
takes place at the camera. A horse is filmed doing whatever it wants to do
at a particular time. The second step, digitizing, means that we transform
this analog video into many digital files. This is accomplished by using a
computer equipped with video capture capabilities. The third step is compression.
In order to get the video to you fast enough, we must compress each picture
so that they can be sent over the internet more quickly. The last step, serving,
is the most complex. Based on network congestion, the server will decide how
many pictures to send to your computer screen in a given amount of time. Sometimes
it is 10 frames per second, and sometimes during the busiest times it is only
1 or 2 frames per second. All of these steps are iinvolved in serving you this
simple video screen.
